Laboratory Technician

Our #SPA® Team is growing again! We are looking for a Laboratory technician to join our production team.

Our production team is looking for a precise, motivated, and learning oriented Laboratory Technician for our cutting-edge SPA® contract research laboratory.

The team works in close collaboration with sales and quality, providing our customers with cutting-edge SPA® analysis services. In your role you will be performing supportive tasks and measurements for customer projects. Your work will enable our customers access to critical data and accelerated drug development. Ultimately your work will assist new drug products reaching the market advancing health and wellbeing globally.

The Solubility Company’s mission is to revolutionize pharma industry by providing crucial, and previously unattainable, information about molecules in development. We operate as a preclinical contract research organization (CRO) in Viikki Helsinki, providing in vitro physicochemical measurement services based on our unique and proprietary image-based SPA® technology.

Your responsibilities as laboratory technician:

  • Preparing solutions according to instructions and SOPs
  • Performing analysis and reporting within set deadlines
  • Maintaining laboratory facilities and instruments
  • Performing and reporting QA-tests for instruments and devices according to SOPs
  • Assist QC by reviewing and developing SOPs and procedures

You’ll fit in if these describes you

  • Vocational school degree or higher (lab technician, etc.)
  • Experienced in laboratory work
  • Understanding of chemical analytical techniques
  • Fluent verbal and written skills in Finnish and English
  • High standard for work, work safety and precision
  • Flexibility, as we work on shifts
  • Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task and adjust to fast changing situations on a daily basis
  • Ability to deliver on set targets and timelines as an individual and member of a team
  • Low threshold for open communication and problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to inspire and be inspired by work and ideas
  •  Be currently eligible to work in the EU
