We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate Jernej’s successful PhD defence on May 21 2021 with Professor Martin Kuentz from University of Applied Sciences North-western Switzerland as opponent. Everybody in the company is delighted for Jernej having successfully defended his PhD. He worked very hard for this achievement and as his opponent said in summing up ‘your work is of a very high standard, and this is validated by the quality of the Journals that accepted your papers’. The Thesis was awarded the highest possible grading, ‘passed with distinction’, only granted to the top 5% of Theses at the University of Helsinki.
